This privacy policy informs you about the nature, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data on our website. It is primarily governed by the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP). Where visitors from the European Union access our website, we also take the principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) into account by analogy.
3. Hosting and Server Log Files
This website is hosted by Hostpoint AG, with servers located in Switzerland. When you access the website, the hosting provider automatically collects technical access data (server log files), namely IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, amount of data transferred, browser type and version, and the referring page (referrer URL). This data is used for the technical operation and security of the website and is not combined with other data sources.
4. Website Security (Wordfence)
To protect against attacks, in particular automated login attempts (brute-force attacks) on the administration area, we use the security plugin Wordfence. Wordfence logs IP addresses and timestamps of failed login attempts and can automatically block suspicious IP addresses. This processing serves our legitimate interest in a secure and functional website. The data is stored on our own server.
5. Web Analytics (Independent Analytics)
We use the analytics tool “Independent Analytics” for anonymous evaluation of website usage. This tool runs entirely on our own server, does not use tracking cookies, and processes IP addresses in a salted, non-reversible form. No usage data is transmitted to Google, Meta or other external analytics services.
6. Cookies
This website generally does not use marketing or tracking cookies. Only technically necessary cookies are used, for example in connection with website security (section 4) or login functions in the administrative area. Under Swiss law, no separate consent is required for technically necessary cookies.
7. Fonts
For consistent display, this website uses Google Fonts. The font files are hosted locally on our own server; no connection is made to Google servers and no data is transmitted to Google as a result.
8. Contacting Us
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide (e.g. name, contact details, content of your inquiry) solely to handle your request and for any follow-up communication. This data is deleted once it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.
